The CPL (Caribbean Premier League) started hosting its 12th season successfully from 30th August 2024 which would last up to 7th October 2024.
A total of 6 teams are set to compete for the championship, which includes:

- Barbados Royals
- Saint Lucia Kings
- St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots
- Antigua & Barbuda Falcons
- Trinbago Knight Riders.
Faf Du Plessis leads the Saint Lucia Kings and has very good international experience and strategic abilities that make him a strong captain. Moreover, the way he handles pressure with a calm attitude is impressive whereas he brings aggression into his playing style which becomes the highlight. Also, he maintains a good position as of the previous year the 2023 Caribbean Premier League, they finished in the 3rd position with 4 wins and 4 losses.
But unfortunately, they couldn’t make it to the final as they lost against the Jamaica Tallawahs by 5 wickets in the Eliminator round.
Amongst other players, the best performer in batting was Johnson Charles who scored 238 runs, whereas the top performer in bowling was Alzarri Joseph who took 12 wickets in 10
