BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has received great support from the cricket boards of Australia and England, and he is set to become the 5th Indian and the youngest chairman of ICC (International Cricket Council) replacing the currently serving Greg Barclay after November 2024. Jay Shah’s journey is successful at present, but it all began in 2009 in the GCA (Gujarat Cricket Association), in which he served as a member of CBC (Central Board of Cricket) located in Ahmedabad.

He further rose to become the joint secretary of the Gujarat Cricket Association in September 2013. Jay was working along with his father, Amit Shah, who is a successful politician now but back then at that time, he was the president of GCA.
