A Short Intro About the ICC Hall of Fame

The ICC Hall of Fame honors the remarkable careers of those top-quality cricketers who have transformed cricket’s legacy and inspired generations by boasting an illustrious list of their achievements.

As per the current rule, the ICC cannot induct any cricketer into the Hall of Fame unless they have retired officially from all formats of international cricket. In other words, a player should have been retired from international cricket for at least five years or more.

MS Dhoni, who played his last international match in the ICC World Cup 2019, was considered eligible to be honored with this exceptional feat.
